The school follows the curriculum of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The academic year is from April to March which is divided into 2 terms -April, July to September and October to March.
The medium of instruction is English. English is compulsory language for all the classes. The CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) system followed in the school for classes l-X which takes care of the all round development of the child's personality. It assesses the scholastic (Curricular areas or Subject specific areas) as well as co-scholastic aspects (Life skills, Work Experience, Visual & Performing Art, Attitudes and Values, Literary and Creative Skills, Scientific Skills, ICT, Health and Physical Activities) of the students. Under this system, the students would be evaluated through the tools like projects, quizzes, experiments, seminars, debates, assignments etc. which will be devised by the subject teacher concerned.
Students have to take the tests and other tools of evaluation seriously as the promotion to the next higher class is based on the total performance in all these assessments. The minimum grade required for promotion is grade D in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Students who are absent for the assessments/ examinations, except for genuine reasons, will be considered as failed and for them no re-examination will be conducted. However, appearing for the Summative Examinations SA 1 (Sept.) & SA2 (Feb.March) is mandatory for all students.
The students who complete Class X will get CCE Certificate of School Based Assessment prepared, printed and signed by the Board which covers their Scholastic and Co-scholastic attainments in classes IX and X. After Class X, the students are prepared for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) of the Board. The examination takes place at the end of Class XII.
