St. Joseph's Convent School Itarsi was founded in 1942 by the Indian province of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery as per provisions of the constitution of India Part III Article 30(1). It is administered by the Sisters of St. Joseph's Convent, Itarsi in accordance with the general rules governing the above congregation. I is an English Medium Senior Secondary Co-Ed School, affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. It conducts classes from Nursery to Senior Secondary Level.

Discipline is the core of SJC it helped me to build myself at every point in life. SJC with its wider approach is open to inculcate the necessary changes that forms the core for the overall development of the students. such the inclusion of subjects like humanities, Marketing, Information Practices etc. Extra curricular activities such as painting competition , poster making, tableau, and collaborations with various governmental organisations such as NPG , Municipal council has helped me to gain wider insight and brush my skills. I believe with the changing circumstances, the introduction of subjects such as Psychology, Geography(in 11th -12th) and sports like Archery, judo, shooting will uplift the Performa of the students and with the increasing dilemmas in students life a counsellor should be available not per say everyday but twice a week which caters to the mental health of the students.I always adore my school as a place of knowledge, experiences and lot more. The education process, which we started by learning to read and write, continues throughout life. We complete these processes with our teachers. As a result, I would like to thank everyone, especially all my respected sisters and teachers whose efforts I can not ignore. The people who have built me into the person I am. As a school teacher and as an educator who had the power to influence my mind to a great extent. Thank you to all Sisters and teachers that created an environment of enthusiasm for learning, appreciation for growing and room for making mistakes along the way. Participating in activities in school provided me with the opportunity to meet other students who shared my hobbies and interests. I gradually transitioned from an introverted position to a more social one through increasing interaction, making new acquaintances and gaining confidence. I can’t thank my school enough for having such a positive impact on my personality. Furthermore, the activities I have participated in at school have provided me with leadership opportunities, competitions, and partnerships. My school did more than just teach me the academic curriculum. It gave me lessons in life that I would not have learned at home. But, it aided in my development as a responsible global citizen. For example, you can become or achieve anything if you work extremely hard and put all of your efforts into it. I Thank my school, all the Sisters and my teachers for everything they have done to build me.
